In his final season before he retires, Emery Lehman posted a season-best 1:44.202 1500m to win the US Olympic Speed Skating Trials. Team pursuit teammate Casey Dawson finished second, also sealing a Milan Cortina spot.
One day after booking her ticket to a fourth Olympic Games, Brittany Bowe won the 1500m race in Milwaukee, crossing the finish line in 1:55.03. The 37-year-old Florida native also will compete in the 1000m in Italy.
