Even though the Pacers are not in contention this season, Zubac is signed through the 2027-28 season with his three-year, $58.6 million deal. The 28-year-old is averaging 14.4 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 43 games this season. He will slide into the starting center role for a team in desperate need of a big man, and then will form a strong core with Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam next season. This trade is also good news for the Thunder, who own the rights to the Clippers’ first-round pick. With the Clippers trading away Zubac and James Harden, that pick figures to be pretty high in the upcoming draft. The Pacers are also sending their 2016 first-round pick to the Clippers, but that pick is top 1-4 and 10-30 protected. Given that the Pacers currently have the third-worst record in the NBA, it would be a huge risk for them to play their best lineup going forward and risk picking in that 5-9 range. As a result, we may see a lot of rest days for their better players, including Zubac, in the days ahead.

Despite all the reports that Milwaukee was looking to move Giannis, they will keep him through the season, though managers shouldn’t expect to see him often. He’s currently sidelined with a calf injury, and there is no reason for them to rush him back. Of course, this isn’t going to quiet any trade rumors, and teams will be revisiting a potential deal this offseason.

Dosunmu spent the first 4.5 seasons of his career in his hometown of Chicago after playing three seasons at Illinois, so this will be quite the fresh start for him. Minnesota has lacked a reliable point guard this season, and they just traded Mike Conley this week. Dosunmu may not start, but he should be one of the primary options off the bench and spend a ton of time on the floor as a lead ball handler. With Dillingham included in the deal, Bones Hyland and Jaylen Clark will be the other point guards in Minnesota.

After a contentious contract negotiation during the offseason, Kuminga was essentially on borrowed time in the Bay Area. He requested to be traded almost immediately after becoming eligible to be moved on January 15, and the athletic forward gets his wish the night before the trade deadline. Kuminga, who has been out with a knee injury, averaged 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 0.9 three-pointers in 23.8 minutes in 20 appearances. With the Hawks’ rotation including Jalen Johnson, Zaccharie Risacher and Dyson Daniels, getting the minutes he desires to showcase himself may not be there for Kuminga. But he is worth watching.

Murphy became just the eighth player in NBA history to make at least 12 three-pointers in a game in Wednesday’s OT loss to the Bucks. The 25-year-old small forward broke out of a mini-slump with 27 points Monday against the Hornets and completely went off with 44 points Wednesday against the Bucks. Unfortunately, neither performance was enough to get the Pelicans the win. Murphy has provided eighth-round per game value over the last two weeks. The Pelicans have one more game this week, coming Friday against the Timberwolves.

Jokić was supposedly still under a minutes restriction on Wednesday. Due to the combination of the game requiring two overtimes and Jonas Valančiūnas (two points, three rebounds and two assists) struggling with foul trouble, the three-time MVP’s restriction appeared to be nothing more than a suggestion. Jokić played 44 of a possible 58 minutes, recording his 17th triple-double of the season. There was an injury scare during the first quarter when The Joker hit the floor with a left leg injury, but he was able to return. The lone issue for him was three-point shooting, with Jokić going 1-of-13 from beyond the arc.

Brunson came up big when the Knicks needed him most, shooting 5-of-7 from the field in the two overtime periods. The All-Star Game starter finished with his third 40-point game of the season and first since a December 21 win over the Heat. The good news for fantasy managers is that Brunson and the Knicks play twice more during Week 16, but the matchups won’t be easy. New York, which has won eight straight, visits Detroit on Friday and Boston on Sunday.

Durant was initially listed as probable with an ankle injury, so his availability isn’t a surprise. The 37-year-old small forward missed Monday’s game against the Pacers after tweaking something in his ankle. It was only the third game Durant has missed all season. Reed Sheppard will return to the bench with Durant back in the starting lineup.

Hart left Tuesday’s win over the Wizards with a left ankle, finishing with four points and seven assists in 22 minutes. Now he’s been ruled out Wednesday against the Nuggets, which is a boost for the rest of the Knicks’ starters. New York has a 141-81 record since Hart was acquired and the majority of their wins this season have come with him in the lineup.

Numerous teams were interested in making a move for White, and Charlotte has won the sweepstakes. With Sexton heading to Chicago, White will likely fill out the sixth man role that Sexton previously occupied and should start when LaMelo Ball comes off the bench during back-to-backs. This isn’t an ideal landing spot for White from a fantasy perspective, though he should still play enough minutes to provide some value.
