  • LAC Quarterback #10
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
He added nine carries for 31 yards. Herbert wasn’t as good as Friday’s performance against the Chiefs, but it was another impressive effort for the 6-foot-6 signal-caller. He showed off his underrated athleticism on a scrambling touchdown throw to Keenan Allen, and then he showed perfect touch on a 60-yard touchdown connection just before the end of the first half to Quentin Johnston. There were some missed throws — and one dropped interception — but Herbert has looked the part and then some over these first two games. He’ll get a chance to add to his five touchdown passes to begin 2025 in Week 3 against the Broncos.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #12
Collins found paint for the first time this season on the team’s first possession, scoring from 29 yards out on a highlight reel catch where he managed to get both feet inbounds along the sideline of the end zone on an over-the-shoulder grab. The 52 yards brings his season total to just 77 through two weeks, highlighting growing concerns for fantasy managers that invested a late first-round pick in the rising star receiver. Collins is likely to be busy once again when the Texans face the Jaguars on the road in Week 3.
  • HOU Running Back #21
Chubb managed just 18 yards on the ground before a 25-yard touchdown run with just over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, highlighting Houston’s struggles on the ground behind a struggling offensive line. He did notch a 27-yard reception on the team’s first possession, which would end in a Nico Collins touchdown from 29 yards out on the following play. Chubb remains the lead back for the Texans in the absence of Joe Mixon but is nothing more than a fantasy RB3 with touchdown-driven RB2 upside.
  • HOU Quarterback #7
Stroud threw his first touchdown of the season to Nico Collins on the team’s opening possession, largely struggling to move the football for the rest of the game until retaking the lead on a 25-yard Nick Chubb run with just over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. The struggles of a piecemeal offensive line continue to be an issue for Stroud, whose team now falls to 0-2 and immediately find themselves looking up at the 2-0 Colts in the AFC South. The Texans also continue to play with little pass-catching help behind Collins in the absence of Tank Dell and Christian Kirk, with no pass-catcher commanding more than four targets against the Buccaneers. Up next for Stroud and the Texans are the Jaguars on the road in Week 3.
  • TB Wide Receiver #2
Egbuka’s fantasy returns could have been even bigger had he come down with one of two deeps targets, the second of which could have gone for 50 yards or more on a scramble drill late in the fourth quarter. His second quarter touchdown from 15 yards out gave the Buccaneers their first lead of the game, which they would hold until just over two minutes remaining in the game. Fantasy managers must be excited about the early returns for the electric rookie after scoring three times in his first two professional outings. He could again see heavy usage in Week 3 with Mike Evans likely to draw shadow coverage from Sauce Gardner when the Buccaneers host the Jets.
  • TB Wide Receiver #13
Evans was shadowed by All-Pro cornerback Derek Stingley for the duration of the game, which explains the modest production although he saw 11 targets. He narrowly led the team in yardage in a game quarterback Baker Mayfield managed just 215 yards on 38 pass attempts. Even so, Evans remains a locked-in fantasy WR2 for as long as he remains healthy. Evans could be in for another shadow in Week 3 opposite Sauce Gardner when the Buccaneers host the Jets.
  • TB Running Back #7
Irving played almost every first half down in a gritty victory that went down to the wire, adding work through the air throughout. He padded his counting stats for fantasy managers on the game-winning two-minute drive by catching four passes with the game on the line, eventually ceding the winning touchdown to backfield mate Rachaad White from two yards out. Even so, fantasy managers have to be happy with the returns absent a score. Up next is another difficult test against the Jets at home in Week 3.
  • TB Quarterback #6
Mayfield put the team on his back when it mattered most, leading a successful touchdown drive with under two minutes to play after the Texans took the lead on a late Nick Chubb rushing score. Fighting through mounting pressure from a tenacious Houston pass rush, Mayfield escaped the pocket on fourth down to extend the game-winning drive with a 15-yard carry up the middle. The two-minute, game-winning drive went down as his fifth such occurrence since being drafted in 2018 and sent the Buccaneers to a 2-0 record for the fifth consecutive season. Up next for Mayfield and the Buccaneers is a home meeting with a Jets team potentially without starting quarterback Justin Fields in Week 3.
  • HOU Running Back #31
The Texans carried four running backs and a fullback on their active roster in Week 1, with Pierce now the lone man out in the equation for Week 2. Expect Dare Ogunbowale to serve as the third-down back while Woody Marks mixes in for change of pace duties behind lead rusher Nick Chubb. Also inactive for the Texans are WR Christian Kirk, WR Braxton Berrios, QB Graham Mertz, C Jake Andrews, and DT Tommy Togiai.
  • BUF Quarterback #17
Not a surprise after he returned to play in-game, but good to hear an affirmative answer on it. McDermott said “his nose looks good to me. It’s always looked good to me.” Allen will be a locked-in QB1 against a Dolphins defense that is redefining what it means to be Down Bad through two weeks.
