  • SF Tight End #85

Kittle got in limited work on Wednesday and Thursday and was spotted practicing again on Friday. He did play against the Seahawks in Week 18 so it’s not much of a surprise that he’ll be ready here. Kittle’s output will be paramount as the 49ers try to find a non-Christian McCaffrey trick over the middle against a fierce Eagles defense. He should make for a top-of-line DFS or Playoff Best Ball play at TE this week.
  • LA Wide Receiver #17
Adams looks likely to be full-go from the jump after three full sessions of practice this week. He probably could have played at any point after the Rams’ unfortunate Week 16 loss to Seattle, but there wasn’t much reason for him to risk it. He’ll be one of the top playoff best ball picks and DFS plays for this week with a solid matchup against the Panthers pass defense.
  • CHI Wide Receiver #15
Odunze got in his first full practice on Friday and was removed from the injury report — his return figures to be key as the Bears try to take two of three games against the Packers. Chicago’s star receiver finished his season with a 44/661/6 line in 12 games and has not played since November 28. Lowered expectations make sense in a DFS setting, but the full practice gives us a little optimism.
  • FA Head Coach
The Dolphins are moving on from their head coach after four seasons, according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. McDaniel met with owner Stephen Ross this week and Ross decided to move on from the 42-year-old coach despite his contract running through 2028. McDaniel’s Dolphins made the playoffs in his first two years, but were bounced in the Wild Card round each time and failed to make the playoffs each of the last two seasons. While the Dolphins held out the longest of any team that fired their coach so far, the writing was on the wall for McDaniel after a 1-6 start this season. There are now eight head coaching vacancies around the league. McDaniel could be a candidate for the Browns head coaching position, according to a previous report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, though an offensive coordinator position could also be an option for McDaniel.
  • FA Head Coach
To say that this year was a stunning fall from grace for the Ravens almost undersells it. They were consensus Super Bowl preseason favorites, and couldn’t even finish with enough wins to manage a playoff spot in a league where seven teams from each conference make the playoffs. And while a few of those losses came during Weeks 4-6 when essentially everyone important on the team was hurt, Harbaugh’s Ravens choked away leads left and right this season as well. They lost to the Bills in Week 1 when they entered the fourth quarter with a 34-19 lead. They allowed 15 fourth-quarter points to the Patriots to lose in Week 16. They lost twice to the Steelers in games they absolutely needed, even with Lamar Jackson finding Zay Flowers for a pair of 50-yard touchdown strikes in the fourth quarter of the finale. Harbaugh is an objectively great football coach, with a 180-113 career record and a Super Bowl win. He’ll instantly vault to the top of the coaching carousel. But the level of cursed that the Ravens felt this year meant that something, somewhere, was going to have to change. And in this case, the Ravens felt it should be the head coach.

    Jaxson Dart
    NYG Quarterback #6
“From the people I’ve talked to, the consensus is that there are a lot of potential head-coaching candidates that are excited about the opportunity here because of Jaxson Dart,” Schoen said when asked about what might be appealing about the Giants head coaching vacancy after the team parted ways with Brian Daboll this season. Dart’s physicality as a runner and his refusal to run out of bounds or slide to avoid a major hit was a major concern throughout the season, as Dart suffered several brain injuries. But he was solid as a passer, completing nearly 64 percent of his pass attempts for 15 touchdowns and five interceptions over 14 games. Dart will be at the center of whatever comes next for the Giants.
  • CLE Head Coach
ESPN’s Adam Schefter had the report Monday morning. The move comes on the heels of multiple weekend missives, including one from Schefter himself, that the Browns planned to move on from their coach of six years. The 43-year-old two-time Coach of the Year will still have a chance to be a head coach next year as he’ll likely be one of the top names in this offseason’s coaching carousel, especially given his offensive-minded background. Stefanski won 11 games twice in his first four years with the Browns, but is out after going 7-26 over the last two years. GM Andrew Berry will remain in place and lead the search for a new head coach, according to a statement from Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam.
  • FA General Manager
It’s not that Fontenot didn’t hit well with his higher picks — Drake London and Bijan Robinson worked out pretty well — but he failed spectacularly by double-tapping quarterback with Kirk Cousins and Michael Penix in the 2024 offseason. Before that, he was arguably too conservative by holding on to Desmond Ridder for multiple seasons. The last straw was probably sending Atlanta’s 2026 first-round pick to Los Angeles for the rights to draft EDGE James Pearce. It took a late winning streak to keep Atlanta from surrendering a top-10 pick. With both Fontenot and Raheem Morris gone, it’s a clean sweep in Atlanta.
  • KC Tight End #87
In what might have been his final NFL game, Kelce was tied for the team lead in receptions as the Chiefs did their best to get him involved. It was a tough way to go out — if Kelce indeed retires this offseason — after a Hall of Fame career that included 1,077 receptions and nearly 23,000 yards. Kelce scored 82 touchdowns over 13 seasons with the Chiefs, though he managed just eight scores over his final 32 NFL games. Kelce acquitted himself well in 2025, ranking sixth in tight end receptions and fourth in tight end receiving yards. His early-career explosiveness gone, Kelce remained a tactician in 2025. He would remain a usable fantasy option if he returns for the 2026 season.
  • BUF Head Coach
Schefter said McDermott’s job status for 2026 could hinge on winning at least one postseason game in the midst of Josh Allen’s career prime. McDermott since he was hired as Buffalo’s head coach in 2017 is 104-57, mostly dominating a weak AFC East. The Patriots’ rise to prominence with Drake Maye at quarterback has pushed the Bills out of the top spot in the division, and the Bills’ offensive struggles in 2025 raise real questions about whether the team is squandering Allen’s best years. McDermott could be out if the Bills lose in the Wild Card round.
