He’ll see plenty of action against the Cowboys and is a worthwhile PPR scam FLEX option. Inactive for the Giants are: QB Jameis Winston, LT Andrew Thomas (foot), OL Evan Neal, DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches (foot), WR/KR Xavier Gipson, TE Thomas Fidone, and LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles.

Worthy is out for the Chiefs’ Week 2 game against the Eagles, leaving the Chiefs without their top two receivers for the Super Bowl rematch. Given how hard of a hit Worthy took from a player who weighs nearly 100 pounds more than him, missing just one week would be an incredible turnaround for the young wideout. Per Rapoport, Worthy suffered a fully torn labrum from the collision. He is expected to play with a harness on his shoulder once he is back on the field. For Week 2, Hollywood Brown, coming off a 16-target game, will serve as the team’s No. 1 receiver. The volume alone will put him in the WR2 ranks versus Philly.

It’s unsurprising given that head coach Brian Schottenheimer said earlier this week he’d need to see more consistency from Blue for him to be active. Blue is probably a drop for most 12-team leagues at this point. Also inactive are CB DaRon Bland (foot), LB Shemar James, DT Mazi Smith, OT Ajani Cornelius, OT Hakeem Adeniji, and OL Trevor Keegan. The last five are healthy scratches.

As is LT Trent Williams (knee). By 49ers standards, this is a really positive injury day. It’s fair to wonder how long Jennings might hold up after failing to finish San Francisco’s nail-biting Week 1 win over the Seahawks, but he’s a risk/reward option on the WR3/4 borderline in an offense dying for quality looks with half the team already hurt. Inactive for the 49ers are QB Brock Purdy, OL Drew Moss, OL Austen Pleasants, LB Nick Martin, DT Jordan Jefferson, WR Jordan Watkins and RB Jordan James.

According to Schefter, the Ravens were ready to draft Sanders with the No. 141 overall pick before it was conveyed to the team that Sanders did not want to sit behind Jackson. Sanders would have undoubtedly been forced to spend years on the bench had the Ravens drafted him, but he was hardly in a position to negotiate after falling well outside of the first two days of the draft. Sanders wound up in Cleveland via the No. 144 pick and is still nowhere near starting an NFL game. He currently sits at third on the Browns’ depth chart behind Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel. While Sanders certainly saw his draft stock plummet for reasons other than his on-field resume, he appears to have shot himself in the foot multiple times during the draft process.

Per Schefter’s source, “Next week will be tight, but he progressed a lot this week.” Previous reports have said Purdy is dealing with a form of turf toe and could miss as many as five weeks. He has already been ruled out for Week 2. All signs point to Mac Jones getting multiple starts. Jones should be able to execute the basics of Kyle Shanahan’s scheme, putting him in the QB2 mix for fantasy purposes. He should be added in all 2QB and Superflex formats.

Rapoport still called Jennings a game-time decision, but it’s a step in the right direction for the veteran wideout. Jennings suffered the shoulder injury in San Francisco’s Week 1 win over the Seahawks and barely practiced this week. He got in a single limited session to close the week before being listed as questionable. Healthy or not, Ricky Pearsall may have already passed him in the pecking order for targets after seeing seven looks to Jennings’ five in Week 1. Fantasy managers will need a backup plan if they are counting on Jennings for Week 2.

Specifically, there is no sense of urgency to “to bench Russell Wilson and start rookie Jaxson Dart.” The report only exists, of course, because there is already very much a sense of urgency in the public discourse. Per Schefter, the team is leaving itself wiggle room. “It doesn’t mean a change can’t come soon at the quarterback position, but the Giants would prefer that it not happen anytime soon, according to sources.” That, we believe, but it will come sooner rather than later if Wilson continues to play like he did in the Giants’ opener against the Commanders.

Bowers did not practice Thursday or Friday but returned to the field Saturday. His level of participation in Saturday’s practice is not yet known, but it was apparently enough to give Carroll confidence in Bowers’ availability Monday. Bowers drew the questionable tag for Week 2, so fantasy managers counting on Bowers would do well to either back him up with Michael Mayer or make other plans at the position consider the Raiders play in the final game of the week.

Judkins is now clear to make his professional debut for the Browns against the Ravens in Week 2. He has had very little time with the team after dealing with offseason legal issues but will at least be available for the first time this season. Don’t expect Judkins to see many snaps after missing all of his rookie camp and preseason.
