  • HOU Running Back #27

As Rapoport notes, expect plenty of Nick Chubb, who is expected to play through a rib injury today. Chubb should indeed lead the backfield, but it wouldn’t be surprising for Jawhar Jordan to see some work as well. Jordan ran for 101 yards on 15 carries with Marks going down early last week. As the top back versus a dead-on-arrival Raiders squad, Chubb is in the RB3 ranks for Week 16. Jordan is a high-risk RB4.
  • CHI Quarterback #18
Williams and the Bears managed just nine offensive points through the first 58 minutes of the game, but an onside kick recovery with less than two minutes to go kick-started one of the more memorable comebacks we will see this season. Williams came up clutch late in the game, completing 6-of-8 passes for 53 yards on the Bears’ final possession in regulation, and capping the drive with a six-yard touchdown pass to rookie UDFA Jahdae Walker. After the Packers’ turnover on downs on the first possession of overtime, Williams again came up clutch. On the fourth play of the Bears’ first overtime drive, Williams found DJ Moore in single coverage downfield, and hit him with a beautifully thrown 46-yard strike to end the game and propel the Bears to a comfortable two-game lead in the NFC North. Williams struggled for much of this game, but the late-heroics were a prime example of what made him the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s draft. With his Bears now sitting at 11-4, Williams will look to push his team to a 12th win next week against the 49ers. He’ll be a mid-QB2 in the fantasy championships next week.
  • NYJ Wide Receiver #5
Glenn had been reluctant to say in recent weeks whether Wilson would return this season, but he has finally confirmed that his WR1 will be shut down for the remainder of the season. Wilson suffered a knee sprain in Week 6 against the Broncos and re-aggravated that same injury in Week 11. The Week 11 injury landed Wilson on injured reserve, meaning he wouldn’t be eligible to return until Week 15. With the Jets in the final weeks of another lost season, there was little reason to force Wilson back on the field and risk another injury. Wilson caught 36 passes for 395 yards and four touchdowns in the seven games he appeared in this season while averaging 8.4 targets per game. This will mark the first time in his four-year career that Wilson failed to go for 1,000 yards, but there’s little reason to believe he won’t be ready to bounce back next season. The Jets have a lot to figure out this offseason, especially at the quarterback position following the failed Justin Fields experiment. Despite the question marks in the team’s QB room, Wilson should profile as a high-upside WR2 in fantasy next season.

    Jaxson Dart
    NYG Quarterback #6
Duggan pointed to comments from Commanders head coach Dan Quinn ahead of Washington’s Week 15 game against Dart and the Giants as evidence that New York opponents are targeting Dart based on his willingness to take big hits, even to the head. “The quarterback is a very competitive dual-threat guy. He will try to run the ball like a running back,” Quinn told his defense last week. “He will try to run you over. He will try to stiff-arm. He doesn’t really run out of bounds. He doesn’t slide a whole bunch. We can get the ball off of him.” Dart took yet another shot to the head in the Giants’ Week 15 loss to the Commanders and was checked for a concussion before re-entering the ballgame. Dart has missed time with brain injuries this season and continues to lower his head as a rusher in the open field. It’s something he’ll need to change if he wants to have a long NFL career.
  • CLG Running Back
Love is one of the nations’ top running back prospects, finishing his junior year at Notre Dame with 199 carries for 1,372 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns, adding 27 receptions for 280 yards and three touchdowns. He finished as a finalist for the Heisman Trophy award and won the Doak Walker award for the top running back in college football. Teams in the first round of the draft will already be circling Love’s name at the top of their running back big boards; he is certainly a candidate to go in the top 10 picks, similar to Ashton Jeanty in 2025.
  • DAL Wide Receiver #88
Lamb handily led the team in targets and yardage but failed to find the end zone on a night quarterback Dak Prescott didn’t manage a passing touchdown. The veteran alpha was leaned on heavily throughout as George Pickens’ bout of disinterested play continued into Week 15, but disguised coverages and unique blitz packages from Brian Flores’ Minnesota defense made life continually difficult for all parties. Now all but eliminated from postseason contention, Lamb and the Cowboys move forward in another lost season as they prepare to face the Chargers in Week 16.
  • IND Tight End #84
Warren led the Colts in targets while running a route on 28 of the Colts’ 30 drop backs. Philip Rivers, 44, making his first NFL start since 2020, peppered his short-area pass catchers with targets from start to finish. Indy running backs combined for nine targets, and all of Warren’s targets were of the quick-hitting variety. The Colts’ lack of throw volume will affect everyone in this Colts offense, but Warren might be live as a startable tight end in 12-team PPR formats with Rivers likely starting the next couple games. Warren plays the Niners in Week 16.
  • LAC Running Back #8
Hampton led the way with 15 rushes while Kimani Vidal saw 12 rushes and one reception. It was Vidal who ran the most pass routes — 21 to eight — and functioned as the third-down and two-minute back for much of the game. With the Chargers shifting hard to the run over the past three weeks, Hampton and Vidal are likely to split around 30 weekly touches, possibly more depending on game script. That could lock in Hampton for 15-20 weekly touches. The rookie should be considered a top-30 option in Week 16 against a week Dallas defense.
  • JAC Quarterback #16
It goes without saying that the first five-score day through the air of Lawrence’s career was also his first six-touchdown outing. Leveling up seemingly every week over the past month, Lawrence had his most emphatic improvement yet against the Jets’ bottom-basement defense. Directing the ball to whomever was open, Lawrence found four players for at least 50-plus receiving yards, and six for 20-plus. Travis Etienne led the way, with all three of his receptions ending up in the end zone, including a 45-yarder on a screen. Lawrence’s most impressive plays were improvisations, including his 15-yard rushing score. The most impressive pass was a 33-yard, non-scoring fadeaway jumper to Parker Washington. There was a scary moment in the first half where Lawrence banged his passing hand, but he never missed a snap and seemingly never missed a throw. Lawrence’s hot streak will be put to the toughest of Week 16 tests as the Jags venture on the road to Denver. Despite his hot play, he will remain outside the top 12 for that one.
  • LA Wide Receiver #12
No surprise here as Nacua is finishing up his third season as one of the top receivers in the league. Rapoport mentions a big money extension is a top priority for the Rams this offseason. The only question is whether he’s able to top Ja’Marr Chase’s $40.25 million average annual value.
