  • PIT Shortstop #85

Finally! Griffin gave himself a great birthday gift when he blasted his first career home run to break the 0-0 tie in this one. It was an impressive shot for the young right-hander, taking a fastball from Brandon Woodruff over the right-center fence and he grinned all the way around the bases. Later on, Griffin singled and stole a base to help ignite another Pirates’ rally and chipped in a two-out, two-strike, two-run single in the eighth inning to finally put his game out of reach. It’s been a slow first few weeks in the big leagues for the star prospect, but a game like this could certainly open the floodgates and help start a hot streak.
  • TB 3rd Baseman #13
Caminero got things started with a bang for the Rays when he took former Ray Taj Bradley deep to center field for a 466-foot homer to give his team an early 1-0 lead. Caminero wasn’t done yet, however. The Rays slugger again got the best of Bradley in the seventh inning, sending a two-run shot into the stands to push the Rays’ lead to 6-1, and ending the night for Bradley. Caminero has been on a heater as of late, registering a hit in nine-straight games while homering six times over that stretch.
  • ATL Center Fielder #23
Not good. Harris was pulled in the top of the eighth after going 3-for-4 with two RBIs against the Nationals bullpen. We expect to hear more about this in the next 24 hours, but we wouldn’t be surprised if this led to a stint on the injured list. Harris was hitting .318/.356/.565 in what has been a major bounceback season for both him and the Braves, with six homers and two stolen bases in his first 24 games.
  • PIT Center Fielder #15
Cruz also was caught stealing and struck out three times. No one will remember that, and everyone who had a chance to see his majestic three-run homer in the ninth inning off Jalen Beeks that traveled 432 feet and hit the top of the foul pole with an exit velocity of 116.9 mph. Incredible. Cruz has always been a special talent and has done some nice things in the league, but it’s fair to say that he’s looked like a different type of guy to begin 2026 — in a good way. We’ll see if he can keep it up, but the ability to do so is absolutely there.
  • NYM Relief Pitcher #38
Williams played a starring role during New York’s 12th consecutive loss on Tuesday night when he failed to record an out during an ugly meltdown against the Twins where he walked three batters and was charged with a pair of runs. The 31-year-old has struggled mightily in his Mets debut, compiling a bloated 9.95 ERA and 11/6 K/BB ratio across 6 1/3 innings over eight appearances. The hedge here for fantasy managers is to pick up Luke Weaver, who has plenty of closing experience, on the chance that he gets a look in the next save chance for the Mets.
  • BOS Right Fielder #19
It sounds like a precautionary decision with Red Sox skipper Alex Cora expressing optimism Anthony will return to the lineup for Thursday’s series finale against New York. The 21-year-old former top prospect has gotten off to a frosty start at the dish this season, slashing an underwhelming .225/.361/.325 with one homer, four RBI and two steals through 22 games. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.
  • CIN Shortstop #44
De La Cruz took Rays starter Steven Matz deep in the opening frame before taking position player Ben Williamson deep in the ninth inning to record his first multi-homer performance of the season. The final blast came in garbage time, but it counts all the same for fantasy purposes. He added an RBI single in the seventh inning to extend Cincinnati’s advantage to nine runs at the time. The dynamic 24-year-old fantasy superstar has left the yard eight times in 24 games, while also chipping in six stolen bases.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #70
Triple-A Worcester manager Chad Tracy told reporters there’s “a pretty good likelihood” that Tolle pitches for the Red Sox later this week. The 23-year-old southpaw, who holds a strong 3.00 ERA and 19/4 K/BB ratio across 15 innings over three starts in the minors this season, figures to get the ball this weekend against the division-rival Orioles with Sonny Gray (hamstring) staring at a multi-week absence. His strikeout upside alone makes Tolle worthy of a fantasy roster spot in all leagues until further notice.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #54
Gray will be out at least a couple of weeks with the strain, but there’s a good chance the 36-year-old will need more than the minimum stint before being activated. Tyler Samaniego will take Gray’s spot on the active roster, but it’ll likely be Payton Tolle — one of the top pitching prospects in baseball — who takes his spot in the rotation.
  • ATL Relief Pitcher #26
Iglesias was surprisingly not available to close Saturday’s game, and the Braves said he slept on his arm wrong and would be fine. The veteran then returned to notch a save on Sunday night, but he walked one and gave up a hit, and didn’t look sharp. Two days later, he’s landed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation. The expectation is that this won’t be a long stint on the IL, but Michael King also “slept on his arm wrong” last year and wound up missing almost three months with a nerve issue. While Iglesias is out, Robert Suarez becomes a top-five closer option in fantasy baseball and needs to be added everywhere. Hopefully the Iglesias manager already scooped him up last week when the injury first popped up.
