  • HOU Forward #17
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Eason was a restricted free agent this offseason, but managed to stay with the Rockets without signing an offer sheet elsewhere. The 25-year-old power forward has been a regular bench option for Houston, appearing in 117 games over the past two seasons while averaging 11.2 points and 6.3 rebounds. Sometimes the best ability is availability and Eason would have more fantasy value if he could play a full season next year.
  • PHI Guard-Forward #7
The Celtics have been shopping Brown for a while now, and they finally found an offer that made moving on from the five-time All-Star worthwhile. Coming off the best individual season of his NBA career, the 6-foot-6 wing is headed to Philadelphia. Last season, Brown averaged 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds, 5.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.0 three-pointers while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 79.5 percent from the foul line. Joining forces with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey likely puts a dent in Brown’s usage, but his fantasy value should not take too big of a hit, if any, in Philadelphia.
  • BKN Forward-Center #21
Wagner has been in the NBA for eight years and only played at least 50 games in a season three times. His production fell off last season with the Magic as he averaged just 6.9 points and 3.2 rebounds, which were both career-lows. Orlando seemed prepared to lose Wagner in free agency, making Goga Bitadze off-limits in trades and adding Nikola Vucevic as a free agent. Wagner joins a Nets squad that went 20-62 last year. He’ll come off the bench behind Julius Randle in Brooklyn.
  • BOS Guard #10
Conley’s contract will pay him the veteran minimum. His arrival in Boston puts an end to a four-year tenure in Minnesota during which he averaged 9.0 points, 4.6 assists and shot 41 percent from behind the three-point line. Conley will serve as guard depth with the Celtics behind Derrick White and Payton Pritchard.
  • Vučević previously spent nine seasons with the Magic earlier in his career. More recently, the 35-year-old center saw his production fall off drastically after a midseason trade to the Celtics last season. Vučević’s playoff production was limited to the point where the Celtics benched him for Game 7 as they lost a series against the 76ers. Vooch was a top-50 player and a bonafide starter as recently as two years ago with the Bulls. With the Magic only paying him $3.9 million at this stage of his career, he could be ticketed for a lesser role in Orlando.
  • CHI Guard #24
Powell made the All-Star team last year in his first and only season with the Heat. The writing was on the wall after Miami completed the trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo this offseason, sending Powell to free agency. The 33-year-old shooting guard has averaged at least 21 points in each of the last two seasons and finished in the top five of Sixth Man of the Year voting in the two years before that. He should be counted on for his scoring once again with the Bulls. Powell certainly adds some legitimacy to Chicago’s young and developing roster.
  • CHA Guard #3
Injuries limited White to 50 games last season. After a midseason trade to the Hornets, his minutes went from 29.1 per game in Chicago to 19.3 per game in Charlotte. White still averaged 15.6 points with the Hornets playing behind LaMelo Ball. With Ball now in Minnesota, White projects as a starter for the Hornets this upcoming season. He’s one of the big winners of the early offseason in terms of fantasy value.
  • A five-star recruit, the 6-foot-4 Burries spent one season at Arizona before turning pro. As part of a team that took the Wildcats to the Final Four for the first time since 2001, he averaged 16.1 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.8 three-pointers while shooting 49.1 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from three and 80.5 percent from the foul line. A first-team All-Big 12 selection, Burries is an effective scorer on all three levels and defends his position well. In addition to his scoring ability, he is an excellent perimeter defender. With Milwaukee embarking on a new era after the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, he will be a key building block for the franchise.
  • After initially entering his name into the draft with an open mind toward returning to Michigan for another season, Johnson shot up draft boards throughout the spring. And his defensive ability is a big reason why. During his lone season in Ann Arbor, the 6-foot-9, 250-pound forward/center averaged 13.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.7 steals and 1.1 blocks while shooting 62.3 percent from the field and 78.2 percent from the foul line. Johnson can be used at either the four or the five, with the latter role coming as part of a smaller lineup. Dallas hired Dusty May as their next head coach, and May just won a national championship with Johnson at Michigan. The two will reconnect and look to build a strong frontcourt alongside Cooper Flagg.
  • The 6-foot-3, 183-pound Flemings was one of the best players in college basketball, earning consensus All-America honors during his lone season at Houston. In 37 games, he averaged 16.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.1 three-pointers, shooting 47.6 percent from the field, 38.7 percent from three and 84.5 percent from the foul line. Boasting the size, athleticism and instincts needed to defend his position, Flemings can also score on all three levels, but there is still room for growth on that end of the floor. He joins a perimeter rotation led by Nickeil Alexander-Walker and CJ McCollum, so Flemings will have some good players to learn from as he begins his NBA journey. Atlanta’s need for additional playmaking on the perimeter gives him a shot at achieving fantasy relevance as a rookie.
