NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero also reports Wattenberg’s extension also includes $27 million guaranteed. The 28-year-old has been an anchor of the Broncos’ offensive line, starting all 24 games played over the last two seasons. He ranks among the top-15 centers in both PFF pass blocking and run blocking grades, allowing one quarterback hit and nine hurries this season. Wattenberg gets rewarded with a deal that keeps him in Denver through 2029.
  • PHI Wide Receiver #6
Smith took some hard hits and falls in the Eagles’ Week 12 loss to the Cowboys and starts out the week as a non-participant in the team’s Tuesday walkthrough. The Eagles play the Bears on Friday, so Smith’s DNP to start the week is concerning for his game status. Fantasy managers should check back throughout the week; any sort of practice time would be a positive sign for Smith playing in Week 13. WR Xavier Gipson (shoulder) was also a DNP after he was shaken up on a punt return that he fumbled late in Week 12. Jahan Dotson would be next up for targets if Smith cannot go.
  • PHI Running Back #26
Barkley’s immense struggles continued in Week 12 against one of the league’s most generous rush defenses. He had 22 yards on 10 rushes while catching seven passes for 52 yards as the Eagles blew a 21-0 lead. “I’m a big believer that the run game starts with me and ends with me,” Barkley said. “I’m in a little funk right now. I’ve had funks before. Just got to break it. Only way I know how is by flushing this, working my butt off, and get ready for the next opportunity.” Barkley has averaged 1.9 yards per carry in the fourth quarter this season, well below his 6.6 YPC in the fourth quarter of 2024 games. Barkley ranks 20th in running back breakaway rate in 2025; last year he was first.
  • CIN Quarterback #9
Burrow practiced on Monday and is fully expected to start for the Bengals on Thursday night against the Ravens. He missed two and a half months with a toe injury he sustained in Week 2 against the Jaguars. Burrow’s return could give the Bengals an outside shot to sneak into the playoffs, though that would likely require a Thanksgiving night win over the heavily-favored Ravens. Burrow struggled before this toe injury. He ranked 29th out of 33 qualifying QBs in drop back success rate in the first couple weeks of the season. Ja’Marr Chase’s fantasy prospects don’t change all that much with Burrow back under center.
  • FA Head Coach
Anderson’s somewhat vague report suggests the 73-year-old Belichick could be in the running for another NFL job even after failing as UNC’s head coach in 2025. The Tarheels are 4-7 after losing two straight games; they have just two wins in the ACC. “There’s more to the story of why Belichick did not end up head coaching another NFL team a couple seasons ago--with his own desires and preferences regarding workplace dynamics playing more into a part of it, than I think has been discussed, publicly known, or given real credence,” Anderson said. Belichick has said he won’t pursue another NFL head coaching job after being passed over by the Falcons two years ago. The presence of Belichick’s social media influencer girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, could complicate things for Belichick if he goes after an NFL gig in 2026.
  • TB Quarterback #10
Bridgewater played the entire second half in the team’s Week 12 blowout loss to the Rams after Baker Mayfield went down with a shoulder injury that was deemed a “low-grade” shoulder sprain — one that could cost him at least one week. Bridgewater on Sunday completed eight of 15 attempts for 62 scoreless yards, with an average depth of target of 6.4, well short of Mayfield’s aDOT of 8.5. “He’s a different quarterback, so schematically, we’ll have to do some different things for him to make him feel comfortable within the offense and do a lot of things he likes to do,” Bowles said of Bridgewater. “There are some similar things, but there are also some differences that way to make him more comfortable. He’s been here long enough to where if he had to go, we can tweak it the right way for him to be successful.” Short-area Bucs pass catchers like Cade Otton and Rachaad White might benefit if Bridgewater draws the start in Week 13 against the Cardinals.
  • SF Tight End #85
Kittle was the primary beneficiary of the play action exploits of Kyle Shanahan’s offense in this one, with Christian McCaffrey setting the tone and keeping the Carolina defense on heir heels. He was held out of the end zone for only the second time in his last five games, but remains one of the highest-upside tight ends in the league in an offense now back to full heath. That doesn’t change ahead of a Week 13 matchup against the Browns, regardless of the effects on his floor.
  • SF Running Back #23
In atypical fashion, the 49ers continue to be the least efficient run offense in the league, a trend McCaffrey failed to buck while averaging just 3.7 yards per carry. His elite pass game involvement remained high as head coach Kyle Shanahan fed him touches on the first six plays run from scrimmage, helping to march down the field to score on their opening possession and seize control of the game. That is particularly notable considering the offense is now back to full strength, minus Brandon Aiyuk. Fantasy managers that invested a first-round pick in the veteran back must be pleased with the returns thus far. McCaffrey gets a more difficult matchup on the ground against the stout Cleveland front in Week 13, but his work through the air keeps him a top tier RB1.
  • CAR Wide Receiver #4
McMillan struggled along with the rest of the offense through a first half in which the team managed just 72 yards of total offense. He would salvage his fantasy outing with a touchdown late in the third quarter, breaking inside on a post route after an agile move to beat zone coverage for the score. The talented rookie remains in the top 10 in receiving but suffers from inconsistent quarterback play and a new run-leaning Dave Canales offense. He’ll look to return WR2 numbers in a difficult matchup against the Rams in Week 13.
  • CAR Quarterback #9
The Panthers managed just 72 yards of total offense in the first half, even as their defense generated three turnovers on consecutive San Francisco possessions. Two interceptions gave the team the ball in San Francisco territory, managing just three points on those two takeaways. The 49ers also strategically deployed an effective blitz, against which Young went 1-for-5 for negative two yards and two interceptions. The loss drops the Panthers to 6-6, now a half-game behind the Buccaneers for the division lead as they prepare for a Week 13 meeting with the NFC-leading Rams before their Week 14 bye. Young will be a tough start against one of the top defenses in the league.
