  • ATL Relief Pitcher #26

Iglesias was surprisingly not available to close Saturday’s game, and the Braves said he slept on his arm wrong and would be fine. The veteran then returned to notch a save on Sunday night, but he walked one and gave up a hit, and didn’t look sharp. Two days later, he’s landed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation. The expectation is that this won’t be a long stint on the IL, but Michael King also “slept on his arm wrong” last year and wound up missing almost three months with a nerve issue. While Iglesias is out, Robert Suarez becomes a top-five closer option in fantasy baseball and needs to be added everywhere. Hopefully the Iglesias manager already scooped him up last week when the injury first popped up.
  • BOS Starting Pitcher #54
Cotillo adds that Tyler Samaniego will be called up on Tuesday to take Gray’s roster spot and fortify Boston’s relief corps. The 36-year-old veteran is scheduled to undergo an MRI to determine the severity of hamstring issue that led to his early exit from Monday’s start against the Tigers after just 2 2/3 innings. It’s not official yet, but all signs point to top pitching prospect Payton Tolle coming up to fill his rotation spot against the Orioles this weekend. The hard-throwing 23-year-old southpaw needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats based on his strikeout upside.
  • SEA 2nd Baseman #33
It’s a tough break for the Mariners, and fantasy managers, since Donovan was off to a phenomenal start at the dish in his Seattle debut, slashing a robust .304/.437/.518 with three homers, eight RBI and one steal through 18 games. The versatile 29-year-old appears unlikely to require a lengthy absence since top prospect Colt Emerson wasn’t brought up to take over at third base. He’ll get some extra time off to put a lingering groin and hip issue to bed after implying that he believes they may be related to the sports hernia surgery he underwent last October. There should be a definitive return timetable at some point in the near future. It’ll be Leo Rivas taking over at the hot corner as a temporary stopgap in his absence.
  • CLE 3rd Baseman #11
Ramírez ambushed a first-pitch fastball from Orioles’ left-hander Trevor Rogers for a 408-foot (106.2 mph EV) solo shot in the fourth inning that made it a 2-0 ballgame. He then replicated the feat in the fifth, that time belting a 1-1 changeup for a 379-foot (103.6 mph EV) solo shot to left that made it 6-4. With the two-hit attack, the superstar third baseman is now hitting .229/.354/.494 with six homers, 12 RBI and 10 stolen bases on the season.
  • AZ Right Fielder #7
With the score tied at 2-2, Carroll launched a grand slam off Jeff Hoffman to make it 6-2 D-backs and essentially clinched the win for Arizona. The 25-year-old also stole a bag, which gives him two on the season to go with three roundtrippers. Carroll has been excellent over these first three weeks of 2026 with a .309 average and 1.018 OPS over 68 at-bats. There’s very little reason to believe he won’t be one of the best fantasy outfielders in the sport for the foreseeable future.
  • ATL Relief Pitcher #26
It was Robert Suarez who came in to pitch during Saturday’s save chance against the Phillies, with Suarez doing the job with a pair of strikeouts. The good news is that this was related to Iglesias sleeping on the shoulder wrong rather than something he picked up throwing, according to Atlanta manager Walt Weiss. The 36-year-old should be considered day-to-day for now, but fantasy managers need to pay close attention to this going forward. If Suarez is still available, he’s essentially a must-add.
  • NYY Starting Pitcher #29
Warren received a touchdown and a field goal’s worth of run support from New York’s formidable lineup and held up his end of the bargain, carrying a shutout into the seventh inning before finally relenting a two-run homer to Royals rookie Carter Jensen. He was in complete control from the outset in this one, generating 11 swinging strikes and needing just 93 pitches (62 strikes) to navigate seven frames. He’ll carry a sharp 2.49 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 31/6 K/BB ratio across 25 1/3 innings into a road tilt against the Astros on Friday.
  • PHI Relief Pitcher #59
At this point, someone should probably encase Mason Miller in bubble wrap. It’s been a brutal start to the season for elite closers, with Duran the latest to hit the injured list. The hard-throwing 28-year-old stopper is likely facing a multi-week absence, even in a best-case scenario, after logging five saves to accompany a microscopic 1.35 ERA across 6 2/3 innings of work this season. There should be an official timeline from the Phillies at some point soon. Orion Kerkering has the stuff to close games and José Alvarado’s previous closing experience make him a potential option in certain matchups. However, Brad Keller is the logical choice to take over the ninth inning in Philadelphia, which makes him worthy of a roster spot in all fantasy leagues.
  • LAD Starting Pitcher #31
Glasnow scattered just two hits and two walks on the evening. The lone tally against him came as Mickey Moniak led off the fourth inning with a double and came around to score on a ground ball. Glasnow got 12 swings and misses on 92 pitches on the night to finish with a 28 percent CSW. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling as he carries a 3.24 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and a 29/6 K/BB ratio (25 innings) into Thursday’s matchup against the Giants in San Francisco. As long as Glasnow stays healthy, fantasy managers should continue to expect borderline elite results.
  • CLE Starting Pitcher #77
He allowed a leadoff walk to Taylor Ward to start the game and another to Leody Taveras to start the sixth inning but that was the only traffic on the bases against him until Taveras singled on the first pitch of the ninth inning to break up the no-hit bid. Blaze Alexander then followed with a single before Messick handed the ball over to Cade Smith — and both inherited runners ultimately scored. The 25-year-old rookie left-hander struck out nine batters on the night while issuing a pair of walks. He got 18 swings and misses on 112 pitches on the night — nine of those on his changeup — while posting a solid CSW of 30 percent. Now 3-0 on the season, he’ll carry a microscopic 1.05 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and a 25/7 K/BB ratio (25 2/3 innings) into Tuesday’s matchup against the Astros.
