  • SF Wide Receiver #15
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Jennings has been dealing with the shoulder injury since Week 1 and played through it in Week 2, but it is notable that an ankle issue was added to his designation. He began last week not practicing as well, but wound up playing to the tune of 10 targets and a touchdown in Week 2. With several offensive skill players hurt for the 49ers, Jennings is in the WR3 range if he plays in Week 3 against the Cardinals.
  • SEA Running Back #26
An ineffective showing in Week 2 is now followed up by a foot injury for Charbonnet. He has led Kenneth Walker in touches the first two weeks of the season off the strength of his pass-blocking, but that could change quickly if his foot injury is major. Fantasy managers should stay tuned as we find out more information about the severity of Charbonnet’s foot while Kenneth Walker fantasy managers are on track to get a boost in Week 3 against the Saints.
  • LV Tight End #89
Bowers played through his knee injury in the Raiders’ Monday night loss to the Chargers, though he was clearly not at full health. The fact that he is practicing in any capacity is a good sign, but the Raiders will be managing his workload throughout the week. Barring setbacks, Bowers is still on track to play Week 3 against the Commanders. Despite playing through injury, the weak fantasy tight end landscape means Bowers is still a top-five play when active.
  • WAS Owner
The Commanders and owner Josh Harris finally got their last leg of approval and will officially be opening a new stadium in Washington, D.C., set to open in 2030. The D.C. City Council gave their second and final approval for a $3.8 billion project to develop in and around the old RFK Stadium site. This will bring the Commanders back to Washington, D.C. for the first time in three decades. A 65,000-seat stadium and more development around the site is in store as the Commanders begin the process of making a monumental move.
  • LAC Wide Receiver #15
McConkey popped up on the Chargers’ first injury report of the week with a biceps injury. He was not visibly hurt in the Chargers’ Week 2 win over the Raiders, making his inclusion to the injury report an eyebrow-raiser. We don’t have much information on the injury yet, so fantasy managers should stay tuned throughout the week for updates. Keenan Allen and Tre Harris will see boosts should McConkey miss Week 3 against the Broncos.
  • HOU Wide Receiver #13
Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said earlier this week that he expects Kirk to suit up in Week 3. A limited practice is a step in the right direction for the veteran wideout. Kirk’s return can’t come soon enough for a Houston offense that has been held below 20 points in both games to open the year. Houston has been playing veterans Justin Watson and Xavier Hutchinson over the pair of rookies they selected on Day Two of the draft. Kirk should slot into a starting role right away. Fantasy managers should check their waiver wires for him as a potential WR4 versus the Jags this week.
  • TB Quarterback #6
Mayfield had his leg tangled up in a tackle from Texans safety C. J. Gardner-Johnson on Monday. He appeared to be in serious pain, though that didn’t stop him from popping up to trash-talk the veteran defender. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported this morning that Mayfield did not undergo any testing after the game despite getting banged up. Mayfield should be good to go for his Week 3 date with the Jets. Even after a slow start for fantasy purposes, Mayfield will sit on the QB1/2 border for Week 3.
  • TB Wide Receiver #2
Egbuka has been one of the early rookie breakouts of the 2025 class. He has three touchdowns and 96 receiving yards through two weeks. His absence from practice could be just a precaution, but it’s officially one of the biggest storylines of the week as the Bucs prepare to take on the Jets. Egbuka was flirting with a WR2 ranking before suffering the injury. He would be a slightly riskier bet if he attempts to play through it on Sunday. Sterling Shepard would take over as the Bucs’ No. 2 receiver if Egbuka can’t suit up.
  • IND Wide Receiver #1
Downs may have picked up the ankle injury in-game last week, when he earned a team-high eight targets against the Broncos. Downs’ practice participation on Thursday and Friday will give us an idea of how he is doing, if the beat reporters are unable to dig up helpful info by the end of the week. Downs dealt with two ankle injuries last year.
  • IND Tight End #84
No word from the beat reporters regarding the severity of Warren’s injury. It’s unclear when and how it happened, but the rookie tight end certainly did not appear to be impacted by the injury against the Broncos last week. Fantasy managers must monitor his practice participation closely this week. Ideally, he will graduate to full participation on or by Friday.
